The non-profit's current hierarchy takes into an account that the MS State Legislative Bill 1525 was passed by the MS State House and the MS State Senate. After that the MS State Governor signed the bill into law the Scenic Rivers Development Alliance became a "political subdivision of the state". Therefore, this model sets the tone for the relationship and a membership status between Scenic Rivers Development Alliance and The Gloster Economic Development Association. All be it that the word "Gloster" is encompassed within the non-profit's name, the focus should be on the fact that as an "Association" the organization's primary role is to work along with and in support of the local Chamber of Commerce, whereby each of them may become a member of the Association; Town of Gloster, Town of Liberty, Town of Centreville, Town of Crosby and the Town of Woodville, respectively. These combined membership fees are utilized by the non- profit association to become a member of the SRD ....
